A Senior Hydraulics Engineer is needed by iO Associates to work with a leading global design, engineering, and project management consulting company. They are employed in the infrastructure sector. Through the use of data-rich, virtual, interactive, and collaborative technologies, they help clients make more informed decisions for difficult jobs.
As part of this crucial position, you will be working as a Senior Hydraulic Civil Engineer to join the Design and Advanced Technology (D&AT) Practice, to work on projects based principally in the Bristol office but with opportunities to work at their own and Client locations elsewhere in the UK and overseas.

You bring proven knowledge and experience in:

• Chartered Engineer
• Leads design teams.
• Has experience in transdisciplinary design and design delivery.
• An engineer possessing strong problem-solving abilities and a realistic, hands-on mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a group of people to do technical design work at a high standard of quality while adhering to applicable design standards and codes.
• Compile job descriptions, briefings, and bid proposals.
• effectively oversee time and finances in order to meet important project deadlines and schedules.
• Collaborate collaboratively with international and UK teams to provide integrated design solutions.
