Flint UK is looking for a Embedded/Software Engineer who can play a role of an individual contributor in verification or design role with 802.1x protocol knowledge:

What you will be doing

• You will interact with the infrastructure team and some of my developers to both understand the current solution and what opportunities we have to implement 802.1x.
• You will help us define and document the requirements and lead on designing a solution, with input from both infrastructure and software people.
• Once the solution proposal is agreed, you will develop or co-develop the code in C++ (and possibly some C code as well), and fitted into the overall solution.
• You will support defining test cases and any technical documentation as well. There will be a good amount of negative testing such as fail over and error cases, that in turn may raise further issues, or simply require explanations and configuration updates.
• You will likely have some level of interaction with the internal program manager that oversees a collection of work items for this customer including the 802.1x request.

Skills & Experience required

• Strong experience writing the test code in C/C++ and Scripting for automation using Perl, TCL etc.
• Candidate can be either from design or verification background with Domain knowledge of WiFi IEEE 802.11ax (WiFi).
• Strong experience developing 802.1x for a platform
• Self-starter and good communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills
