Mobile SDET - Tech for Good - JavaScript, React Native, Appium, Python

Oliver Bernard are currently working with a growing Tech for Good startup, who are seeking their first QA/SDET as part of plans to build their Automation framework and strategy, and encourage best practices across their Development teams as they scale.

They are looking for a Polyglot QA, capable across JavaScript, Python and Mobile Testing, to work in an Embedded SDET fashion across Development (JavaScript) and Data (Python) teams, whilst being a key decision maker in technologies that are fit for purpose, testing best practices, and hiring future engineers to work under them as the Testing function grows.

To be considered, the incoming engineer will need the following experience:

• 3-4+ years' Automation experience in JavaScript and Mobile environments
• Experience reading and writing clean code, whilst working closely with Developers
• History of working with Automation frameworks such as Cypress, Cucumber, Behave, PyTest etc
• Prior experience/exposure to Mobile Testing (Swift, React Native, Appium etc)
• Experience across CI/CD and API Testing
• Able to advise on best practices and work as an Individual Contributor from a Testing perspective

This position is able to offer £65-85K on the base salary, alongside benefits, and operates on a hybrid WFH pattern (2 office days p/week).
