SMT Technician

We are recruiting for a talented SMT Technician to join our leading aerospace company

• Inside IR35
• Office in Portsmouth
• £38.00 per hour InsideIR35 (plus 20% uplift for shift work)
• 12-moonth initial contract

SMT Technician Overview:

• Throughout your role you will be responsible for the programming, set-up, maintenance, and first inspections for anything relating to our surface mount technology.
• Manual soldering operations in line with specifications
• You will take responsibility for the completion of assembly work
• You will be required to maintain relevant documentation that aligns with our internal processes
• Adhere to company standards

SMT Technician Requirements:

• Accreditation in soldering operations
• Commercial experience within an assembly, manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to understand technical documentation, including drawings, procedures and technical notes
• Experience working in a clean room
• Understanding of work place health and safety practices and regulations
• Excellent communication skills
