Senior Network Engineering Service Lead

  • Up to £62,000
  • Coventry based
  • Hybrid working

We are working with a client in the financial industry who are looking to hire a Senior Network Engineering Service Lead to join their existing team of engineers and voice engineers in providing hands on support and engineering upgrades as well as acting as a Service Lead to help the hiring manager.

The client are currently working replacing CheckPoint to Palo Alto as well as implementing AWS in to their environment which will be expected to come into effect at some point early next year.

There is an out of hours element, which is as and when needed, depending on the task. This could be once or twice a week. Which employees do get paid over time for. There is also an on-call rota which is approximately 1 week every 3 months, which will also count as over time pay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and keeping on top of KPI's and SLT's.
  • Managing Service Now queues planning service objectives in Jira.
  • Managing major incidents and keeping on top of high workloads
