My client is one of Britain's largest, trusted and well-known independent manufacturer and distributor. They are now in search for an Infrastructure Analyst to join the IT department.

Your new role
The Infrastructure Analyst's main purpose will be to support Infrastructure solutions across the business, including hardware and software, user support and maintenance, scanning and printing services and network and cybersecurity. Work with Infrastructure Vendors in the provision of services and resolution of reported issues and support all IT services across 5 sites.

What you'll need to succeed
The skills you'll need to be successful as an Infrastructure Analyst at this company include, and aren't limited to:

• Strong 2nd Line support skills
• Windows Workstation and Server operating systems
• Virtualization technologies for Servers
• SAN and backup technologies
• Security related technologies including Firewall, anti-virus and web monitoring technologies (and associated procedures)
• High Availability systems
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning and execution
• Core collaboration technologies Microsoft Office 365 including Exchange and SharePoint
• Understanding of general voice (phone and mobile) systems
• Proven ability to be a part of, build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver result on time
• Ability to quickly absorb and understand complex processes and systems
• Good written and verbal communication skills
