Job Title: Avaloq Technical Developer

Location: London, UK (1-2 days on-site per week)

Daily Rate: £550pd Inside IR35

Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Avaloq Technical Developer to join our team. Our client, a wealth management bank, relies on Avaloq as their specialist core banking solution for diverse functions such as core banking, investment management, and lending. As a Technical Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining complex applications on the Avaloq platform.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and implement solutions on the Avaloq platform.
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, and maintenance.
• Write efficient PL/SQL code to create and modify database objects, stored procedures, and data manipulations.
• Utilize your solid software engineering knowledge to develop complex applications, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to coding best practices.
• Act as a team player by actively participating in team discussions, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the collective success.
• Demonstrate an open-minded and communicative approach, effectively collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Show enthusiasm for learning and understanding the business needs, aligning technical solutions with the requirements of our business area.
• Exhibit strong written and spoken English language skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• BS/MS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Avaloq ACP (Avaloq Certified Professional) certification would be a significant advantage.
