Hays is presently collaborating with a public sector organisation to hire a Senior Product Manager. This organisation is in the midst of a significant digital transformation across its technology function and is seeking an ideal candidate to guide a technology team through the entire product life cycle, from initiation to completion. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the roadmap of multiple digital products, ensuring they consistently align with business goals and user requirements. You will oversee the definition, prioritisation, and execution of one or more extensive digital initiatives.

• Creating and delivering product roadmaps from inception to completion, using data-driven analytics and user research.
• Extensive experience of effectively managing user stories, backlogs, and defects.
• Proficient in managing stakeholders at all levels with the ability to talk to non-tech users.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring they are supported and understand the overall vision and outcomes they need to achieve.
• The ability to demonstrate managing user needs.
• Actively managing risks, issues, and dependencies for the project, acting on data and adapting ways of working to mitigate risks.
