Resource Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an Actuarial Analyst to join our clients Reserving Team, one of the UK's and US most well-reputed Lloyds Insurance Firms

Role Objective: To support the Segment Reserving Manager with delivery of the Segment Actuarial Reserving Team's objectives and provide high quality statistical analysis and communication to key stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Contributes to, monitors and advises on the plan developments and changes in order to ensure relevancy, compliance and optimal delivery

Assists in the preparation and implementation of the operational team plans to ensure these are in line with wider business strategy and reflect key priorities.

Determines own work priorities and activities in line with agreed plans to ensure the achievement of the function's objectives.

Contribute to improvements to the reserving processes

Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to improve customer focus and to be a trusted contact for relevant business units in relation to actuarial services

Requirements:

At least 2 Years Experience in an Actuarial or Reserving Role

Expert knowledge of actuarial techniques for reserving casualty, specialty and property insurance and/or reinsurance

Excellent written and oral communication skills, including good negotiation skills.

Ability to produce detailed reports at various levels.

Expert user in Excel

Knowledge of programming languages advantageous

Good working knowledge of MS Access, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
