IT Engineer - Chester - £17.72 per hour Umbrella CONTRACT
We are recruiting for an IT Engineer to be based in Chester on contract to work for a leading Banking Group.
Job Description
Decommission project
o Validate desk/equipment against weekend scope of work, reporting any anomalies back to the central project team.
o Power down and detach cabling for in-scope Legacy desk bundles:
o Remove Legacy equipment from desks and transfer to storage location.
o Package Legacy equipment (utilising SIMMs provided packaging and white boxes for monitors) in readiness of SIMMs collection and processing.
o Separate thin clients to allow hard disks to be removed and destroyed at a later date.
o Report and manage any issues, including any missing new monitor arms.
