The Company:

The company is a regional West Midlands based Client with a turnover in excess of £110m that prides itself on successful project delivery working closely with repeat clients on negotiated works.

The company works on new build and extension projects throughout Commercial and Industrial sectors, across the Greater Midlands and on a nationwide basis. They are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant.

Accounts Assistant Role:

* Purchase ledger/Sales ledger control

* Open and distribute post

* Database incoming post

* Processing Invoices/Credit notes

* Dealing with Invoice and PO related queries/general accounts calls

* Monthly supplier reconciliation and payment run

* Monthly bank reconciliation and cash book entry

* Monthly payroll and year end reports to Inland Revenue

* Construction Industry Scheme maintenance and monthly return/payment to Inland Revenue

* Month end journals

* Checking VAT and quarterly returns

* Monthly auto enrolment pension report and payments

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of related work experience, construction experience would be looked upon favourably.

Preferred Requirement / Qualifications:

* Payroll processing experience

* Detail oriented

* Familiar with Excel software

* Payroll experience highly preferred

* Must be able to work unsupervised

* Must be a team player

Hours of Work:

Full Time – Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (flexibility)
