Mechanical Design Engineer

The successful Mechanical Engineer must have a minimum of 5 years within the Mechanical Design sector. A degree is desired ideally in Mechanical Engineering or Building services but other similar STEM fields will be considered.
The Mechanical Engineer with require a high level of communication skills as the mechanical engineer will be answering the phone and participating in conference calls, as well as leading meetings and taking control of projects.
The candidate will be looking after all mechanical aspects of the business, from mechanical design (HVAC), sourcing equipment, calculations, pipe sizing, writing specifications and attending meetings.
The Mechanical Design Engineer will also need to delegate various tasks to the junior engineer.

Ability to assist in the management of tasks for junior and trainee engineers.
Carry out Hevacomp calcs/Thermodynamic models
Actively address issues; present solutions, not problems.

Ability to work on own initiative - accurately, independently and efficiently, and to take ownership of projects.
Write clear and concise reports
Take control of projects
Be an effective communicator and team player
Be able to Inspire external clients and junior engineers
A willingness and ability (valid passport) to travel within Europe
