Our client is looking to hire a Call Centre Sales Team Manager who is ready to embrace their next challenge. It's a really exciting time in their sales call centre - they are looking to take that next step as a business and grow and improve upon what they do today.

Purpose of the role

The role of Team Manager plays a valuable part in driving the first-class service provided to clients and other third parties.

As a Team Manager you will be responsible for the day-to day activities and guidance of your team members. You will set targets, implement guidelines and assist with any issue’s employees may have. You will demonstrate an ability and willingness to mentor and coach staff.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all members understand the team’s objectives and work together to achieve it.

Key activities and responsibilities of the role

Coaching and Mentoring

* Actively work to continually coach and develop your team; identify development requirements, establish goals for both the team and the individuals, regularly conduct performance reviews and appraisals as required

* Motivating the team to meet the agreed targets / KPIs ensuring that all transactions are managed proactively to ensure the highest level of service is given

Performance Management

* Day-to-day management of your team including monitoring timekeeping, absence and overtime management, managing individual and overall team performance, dealing with staff issues such as performance improvement and disciplinary issues as required

* To establish, monitor, and review capacity plans to ensure appropriate staffing levels in advance

* Utilising MI data available in order to manage performance on a day to day basis, as well as succession planning for mid and longer-term objectives

* Ensure that your team is fully informed and compliant of any Company / Strategic updates or changes to procedures and processes

* Responsible for ensuring all relevant tasks are completed in line with the company’s compliance requirements and associated procedures are adhered to


* Actively contribute to the achievement of the individual, team and business monthly targets

* To foster a continuous improvement environment which will lead to improved productivity and client satisfaction

Knowledge and experience

* Experience of managing sales/telesales teams

* Self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed

* Excellent IT skills including experience of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
