My client are a successful technology business with 20+ years' experience providing IT solutions and services to some of the UK's best known brands. As a result of further growth and projects they are looking to hire an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their hybrid team.

This is a varied position which will include 3rd line support, high level project work, mentoring more junior engineers and playing a key role in designing and maintaining solution documentation. You will be a key point of contact for a number of different clients and enjoy the variation of supporting a range of different networks and infrastructures.

From a technical point of view we are looking for a strong Windows Engineer with a reasonable focus on VMWare. Good storage skills are preferred and a basic level of networking would be useful however the business do have a dedicated Networking Team which you will work alongside. A customer focused approach and great communication skills are essential as you will effectively operate as an extension of the clients IT department.

The team work mostly remote with office visits in the Midlands twice a month.
