Technical Product Owner

We are partnered with a leading global software & systems company to find a talented and experienced Technical Product Owner.

The role is to help support the delivery of a range of Microsoft based digital solutions to companies within law enforcement and the criminal justice sectors.

It's a rewarding career opportunity in a fast-moving industry that adds a huge amount of value to the police, emergency services and national security as well as financial fraud prevention.

The company have state of the art offices and a technology suite in Southampton, Hampshire. The role is hybrid, 2/3 days a week onsite.

Scope/What you will need

• This role would better suit someone who has been a Software Developer and is comfortable in technical discussions with other developers.
• You will have knowledge of and enthusiasm for working with Back End/Server Side solutions. Eg. C#, C++, Java based on-premise software.
• As a smaller team in size, you will play a varied role and be happy to participate in customer support, documentation, project delivery and product strategy.
• Experience breaking down complex market requirements into secure, scalable, and resilient system designs.

Skills & Experience - Essential:

• Ability to understand technical solutions, experience of software development.
• Ability to understand the big picture and translate it to detailed needs.
• Experience working in an Agile delivery methodology organisation.
• Experience in writing Technical Systems/Solutions Documentation.
• Communicating effectively at all levels, from executive management to individual contributor.

Nice to have:

• Experience of working with Azure technologies & emerging technologies.
