If so, we have an opportunity for you to join a well-established print business as their Business Development & Account Manager. This will see you working in an organisation with a laid-back, informal and open culture but equally where sales, service and customer focus is critical!

THE ROLE

Your role as Business Development & Account Manager will be a 50 / 50 split between new business and account management. You will successfully target and win new clients whilst managing and growing existing accounts. This will require you to sell litho, digital and large format print.

You will use a range of sales methods to target new clients. This might include cold calling, prospecting, networking, email campaigns etc. This will see you booking and attending appointments with a range of businesses across the North East, using your strong sales and negotiation skills to provide cost-effective solutions.

Importantly, you will nurture existing client relationships and work to ensure service levels are maintained and new opportunities are capitalised on. This will require you to build strong long-term relationships, something which the business is passionate about.

Alongside this, you will successfully use the quotation and MIS system, completing all administration duties as required.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

To be considered for the role of Business Development & Account Manager, you must hold knowledge and experience of the print industry and be able to demonstrate a successful sales record.

You will have excellent sales and negotiation skills, bringing with you a proactive and results-driven approach.

You must also hold a full UK driving license.

THE CONTRACT

This is a full-time permanent position, where you will work from 9.00am until 5.00pm Monday - Friday.

You will be expected to be in the office each day, attending appointments accordingly.

THE PACKAGE

You will receive a basic salary of between £30,000 and £35,000, depending on your experience.

You will also benefit from a commission structure and receive a company car, laptop and mobile phone.

You will receive 23 days` holiday (+ bank holidays), rising with length of service.
