Role Description

Working as part of the production payroll team delivering on the company’s payroll responsibilities and commitments to its clients within the film, tv and entertainment industry. Delivering to multiple clients critical payroll services, which are delivered accurately and on time. The role requires preparing client files for payment, performing reconciliations to ensure accuracy and to deliver within strict client deadlines. Additionally, this role requires effective and professional management of verbal and written enquiries from clients and cast & crew payees, including to provide updates on processing, manage payment exceptions and ensure the process is seamless for both client and payee.

Key Responsibilities

• Accountable for the accurate preparation and processing of daily payroll files, ensuring payments are executed within company agreed client timescales

• Perform and document individual client reconciliations, ensure full auditable records are kept associated to client submissions & processed payments

• Co-ordinate collection of new starter information for on-boarding of cast & crew

• Perform client production and payment set up within the payroll systems, ensure respective preparations are made in the finance team for the creation and management of invoicing

• Ensure all reports are produced, tracked and auditable, including required HMRC submissions

• Ensuring the timely issuing of payslips, P45’s and P60’s in accordance with service agreements, legal and/or regulatory requirements

• Timely resolution of any client enquiries, prioritising any amendments or change to payment details that may otherwise cause delays in the payroll process

• Ensure compliance at all times to relevant payroll regulation and legislation, incl. data protection, understand the implications of non compliance

Experience:

• Payroll processing experience essential (min. 2 years) with production payroll experience desired

• Knowledge; HMRC/tax regulations, GDPR / Data protection

• Analysis; experience with analysing & drawing conclusions from data

• Customer Service; experience in service environment (phone/written) working to set standards & SLA’s
