Job Title: PMO Coordinator

Location: Havant

Salary: £39,413 - £52,055 depending on skills and experience

Permanent | Full Time Hours with flexible working patterns available

Our Role

Your main focus in the role will be to perform and coordinate core PMO functions including planning, reporting, change control, document management and resource demand management.

Working across multiple projects, you will support and coach Project and Programme Managers with all aspects of project and programme delivery such as planning and forecasting, risk and issue management, dependency management, and reporting to ensure an effective PMO function is maintained.

Assisting with the development of Project Management methods, systems and techniques you will implement support services and governance for the PMO so that you man monitor them from inception to closure. You will ensure that projects run to time, to budget, that all risks are minimised and assessing its delivery against strategic objectives.

Your Skills and Experience

We are looking for you to bring comparable experience from a similar size delivery organisation which will include a brilliant working knowledge of key project processes, status reporting, budgeting, estimates, planning, dependency management, risk and issue management, quality gates and change management. As our PMO Office is in its early stages of set up, it would be of benefit for you to have had experience in standing up a similar function to run effectively in a short space of time.

You will have superb stakeholder management, influencing and team working skills in addition to very strong written and oral communication skills. A highly proficient user of Excel, you'll be able to model and analyse sets of data to draw out exceptions and trends, and present these to senior stakeholders in a way that is relevant, clear and accessible. Working in what can be a high pressure environment, you'll be able to calmly and effectively prioritise and execute tasks without supervision. You'll also relish the challenge of working in a change environment, and actively identify and implement innovative and effective business improvements. A qualification in Lean/Six Sigma would be an advantage, as would P3, but not essential.
