Location: London, central. Swanky offices – rooftop gardens & all that jazz.
Salary: £50K (Flexible though) + Bens & free massages. Or not, if you don’t like to be touched.
Python Django application Developer.
Would you like to be the 1st, dedicated back-end app developer for a booming, brand new social media app build & brand?
Would you like to receive mentoring on the required tech (Python 3, Django 2, AWS, Lambdas, Node) from the technical experts who are currently working on building the new app, before it’s even released?
Well, this might just be for you then.
Since launching the 1st incarnation of the app in February this year, we have already had 60,000+ users sign up. To be honest, it really wasn’t that great an initial app, but we did our best.
Due to this pretty huge uptake & interest, we have a lot of money to scale & are now building our very own in-house custom app with the latest technology. It looks pretty good & mostly works too.
As well as growing from a team of 2 founders to now 10 permanent, full time staff, we are close to launching our new, fully functioning death star app. We hope that there won’t be an open exhaust port for it to be destroyed that we didn’t spot on the plans (Now missing), but just in case there is – we want an experienced Python / Django app developer to protect us from destruction & expand our empire.
If you love modern, cutting edge technology & the latest frameworks / version releases & want to be the main person on a very visible social media app with many users – this is for you.
If you crave a more corporate & structured environment with people who do adulting well, with clear & defined “org charts” – this is not for you.
We’d need to see some pretty good experience on the below (any combo of these skills, in any order of experience):
- Python with Django web framework. Abut 2+ years experience would be good, but flexible to ability really.
- AWS (RDS, EC2, S3, Lambda)
- Able to at least sign in to Instagram & perform basic navigation. (Small, short bursts through the day to get in & do what you need to do is fine)
We look forward to welcoming applications from all walks of life
