Responsible for co-ordinating and supporting the development of the clients’s medium term financial plan and capital programme. Ensuring adherence to governance procedures and processes and that financial regulations are up to date. Proactively identifying and interpreting major issues likely to affect the clients’s finances and to report upon their potential impact. To manage staff and deputise for the Head of Finance where necessary and to support the achievement of our clients objectives and targets.
1 Responsible for co-ordinating and supporting the development of the term financial plan and capital programme.
1 Guide, advise and support senior managers in the resolution and interpretation of technical and policy issues regarding related funding that are likely to affect the finances. Ensuring that decisions are made on sound technical grounds and within policies and timeframes.
1 To input into quarterly monitoring reports and keep up to date due diligence reports and reconciliations regarding capital and revenue budgets against plan.
1 To proactively assist the integration of the revenue budget and capital programme with other financial and planning processes.
1 To provide expert financial advice and information regarding capital and to support the Capital Strategic Asset Board in its assurance/governance function.
