This Blue-Chip manufacturing business in Bristol is looking to add a highly experienced Quality Engineer to their team due to an internal promotion. Due to the size of this organisation, this Quality Engineer will be given a lot of autonomy within their role and have a plethora of internal progression opportunities.
Your new role
As the Senior Quality Engineer, you'll be reporting into the Divisional Quality Manager with a dotted reporting into the site Technical Manager. You will be expected to conduct internal audits as well as external customer audits to ensure that all products received meet the required standard. I addition to this, you'll be expected to deputise for the Manager and support them in integrating new initiatives for the team. Due to the sensitivity of the products you'll be working with; you'll be expected to report to site board level from time to time to discuss discrepancies plus the improved ways of working.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for this Quality Engineer position, you will have gained in excess of 5 years within a Quality led role. Ideally you'll have worked within the Defence, Aerospace, Marine or another similarly regulated field. Ideally you'll be HNC or HND qualified. You must have the Lead Auditor qualification to be considered for this position.
What you'll get in return
The salary for the Quality Engineer will be offered at between £35,000 and £40,000 dependant upon your experience. In addition to this, you'll be entitled to a wide variety of benefits upon completion of your probationary period.
