A successful independent practice based in Central London that are currently searching for a Client Manager to work on controlling the workflow on a portfolio of clients, also dealing with technical queries and completing quality control review. The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated individual with a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities for a Client Manager:

* Review of VAT returns and registration

* Responsible for managing workflow

* Review of statutory accounts prepared by junior members of staff

* Responsible for the efficient functioning of compliance work in general

* Management of an assigned portfolio

* Client billing process

* Payment runs

* Dealing with queries as they arise and provision of these deliverables

* Direct line management of more junior staff

Ideal Requirements:

* Previous experience working within an accountancy practice

* Excellent written and verbal communication

* ACA/ACCA/AAT Qualified

* Experience of portfolio management and supervision of staff

* A confident team player

* Commercial awareness

* Ability to communicate effectively with Partners & Juniors as appropriate
