HRGO Recruitment are looking for a Lead Installation Engineer in Milton Keynes where you will be tasked with installing high security aluminium communal entrance doors, frames and screens and other associated products.

Candidates will also be tasked withe supervising the installation assistant.

Some of your day to day responsibilities will be -

· Using and operating various hand tools and power tools

· Maintaining of tools and equipment (keeping them clean and lubricated where appropriate)

· Follow health and safety requirements and correct working practices

· Dealing with customers and sub-contractors

· Maintain a safe, clean working environment.

· Loading and unloading the installation vehicle ensuring all materials required to complete the job are loaded safely and securely and checked against the relevant paperwork.

· Maintaining consumable stock levels inc monthly stock takes

· Driving in a responsible manner and comply with all road rules.

· Removal of existing frame and Installation of the new frame and door (following installation procedures) and causing the minimum disruption to the residents

· Various aspects of building works i.e. rendering / plastering reveals, pointing, pebble dash, concrete sills etc

· Precise work with mastic and silicone.

· Completion of relevant paperwork i;e Installation coversheet, expenses and timesheets

You will need to hold a in date CSCS card, Asbestos Awareness, Manual handling & Emergency First Aid.

Candidates will need to be able to work with the Lead Engineer to ensure work gets completed in a specific time frame installing aluminium security doors.

General responsibilities will be

* Assist in the loading and unloading of installation vehicles

* Ensure all materials required to complete the job are loaded safely and securely and checked against relevant paperwork

* Stripping out of old units

* Preparation of apertures to accept the new units

* Fixing of new units, making sure they are level and secure

* Sealing of new units to ensure they are weather right

* Operating various hand tools and power tools

* Keeping the working environment clean and tidy inc tidying up and clearing away of debris and left-over materials.

* Various aspects of building work

* Dealing with customers / sub-contractors

* Working to company procedures and health and safety regulations inc working @ height, ladders and scaffold

* Keep installation vehicles clean and tidy

* Keep yard clean and tidy

* Complete installation paperwork on behalf of the team leader

* Complete relevant training courses

Location: Milton Keynes (Central)

Hours of Work: Monday To Friday

Salary: 23k for the right person, including a potential 5k annual bonus paid monthly.
