The role of a Field Service Engineer you will be tasked with supporting the production, service and engineering departments. You may be required to travel to customer sites. You will be required to fault find, service, install and commission a variety of med to heavy machinery.
To be successful as a Site Service Engineer you will need to demonstrate excellent fault-finding experience, be multi skilled, have experience servicing/maintaining machinery. Any wiring experience would be an advantage but not essential.
Candidates are required to be able to provide technical backup to the Field Service team and answer calls/reply to emails as and when required.
You will also be involved in testing, debugging new machines, record mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic amendments.
Training will be provided, as mentioned the role would suit a service engineer who wants to progress.
Electrical and PLC knowledge is essential, excellent problem-solving skills, able to communicate at all levels, be organised and able to manage your own workload.
