Accounts Assistant

Location: Wembley

Salary: £24,000

Our client is actively helping shape one of the most important trends of the future: security. The long-established technology group creates confidence in global payment transactions, modern communication, digital identities, and data security, by providing innovative products and solutions.

They now require an Accounts Assistant to join their growing team.

Responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant role:

Purchase Order creations for HR

Responsible for the accruals, prepayments, provision etc. including posting and calculations of journals entries

Payables process

Cheque runs

Bank postings and reconciliation

Supplier and Customer masterdata creation and maintenance

Responsible for reporting the Balance sheet to head office in a monthly basis

Intercompany invoices

Support the other accountants in the performance of their duties

Prepare the debtors and creditors aging

Ensuring a smooth continuity of the department in case of team member absence (sickness, holidays etc.)

Ensure accurate and timely posting of financial transactions

Assisting in other ad hoc projects

Daily cash allocations and cash reconciliation of customer payments

Raising intercompany invoice recharges

Requirements of becoming the Accounts Assistant:

SAP FI Module

HSBC/NatWest Bank-line

BOPC

IC Web

Excel

Previous Financial Accounting and IFRS experience

Management Accounting

Our client is bound by the Security requirements of the payment’s schemes (MasterCard & Visa) and its customers to provide compliant security controls in every respect when transmitting, processing or storing sensitive information. In accordance with the companies Group security concept, each employee shall be responsible for complying with, carrying out or implementing all regulations & controls defined by Legislation, Payment schemes, Customers, Corporate and Local instructions. Employees must also ensure compliance with our Security Management System contained within the requirements of 'MANUAL005 – GDGB Security Manual' & 'MANUAL006 - GDGB Information Security Manual' (copies of which are located on ePlanet and the QA Integrated Management system).
