Our client, a B2B high-tech company is looking for a Business Development Executive to join their busy sales and marketing team.The basic salary is £23,000 - £24,000 plus £5K commission - OTE £28 - £29K in your first year.

They are looking for a Business Development Executive who can help grow and further secure their position within the sectors that they work in.

Our client has as an ambitious growth plan and you will be a key member of the team that makes this plan succeed. Our client is looking for a candidate with a strong commercial background who can help them develop their position in this ever-expanding market sector. You will nurture relationships with existing customers and help identify and target new clients. There is also the opportunity to get involved in keeping their online profile up to date.

If you have a love of technology and are interested in further developing your career in sales, then this is a great opportunity to become central in helping our client to grow a rapidly expanding business.

Ideal candidate

Finding someone with specific experience in our clients' niche market is very difficult so for them the right person who has the right grounding but more fundamentally, the right attitude.

Primarily you must be driven and highly motivated by success. Either a technical background or a keen interest in technology are essential along with a natural desire to succeed. You will preferably have B2B sales experience, but our client will also consider highly motivated individuals looking for their first B2B role. You must be self-motivated and enjoy generating and sharing new ideas.

Other personal traits our client is looking for include:

• Proactive, positive and passionate

• Drive and ambitious with a desire for results

• Excellent communication skills both written and spoken

• Ability to work on own initiative but to also be a team player

• Enjoy working in a complex environment

• Strong ability to influence

You will need to have your own transport to be considered for this role due to our client being based in a remote area.
