Management of the cost control procedures around areas of expenditure such as Overtime, Purchase Orders & Fuel etc.

* Lead the Commercial Administration team and monitor performance in line with their respective role and competence specifications.

* Manage the non-civils payment application process.

* Business partner to the Regional Managers within the contract.

* Help develop a culture of ownership around numbers throughout the business

* Production of monthly / weekly expenditure reports and presentation of these to the leadership team.

* Management of supply chain to make sure we receive best value for money.

* Managing the insurance claims process.

* Support the Commercial Manager in the management of contractual obligations including the proactive and timely management of variations, disputes etc. both with the client and supply chain.

* To ensure that a robust system for managing disputes, including obtaining supporting information such as site records, are kept on all Contracts as support for cost substantiation in the event of change and or delays to the contract.

* Identify contract commercial risks and opportunities.

* Support the use of the Commercial and Financial Procedures and monitor non-compliance.

* Undertake any other work as reasonably required of you by the Commercial Manager
