As a preferred recruitment partner to this well-established global financial services organisation we have been asked to assist in the hire of a Senior Technical Lead to take responsibility as Head of Technology for a portfolio of technology products focus sing on corporate finance, corporate reporting and to a lesser degree HR. There is a heavy data management / data reporting focus too in this role.
We are looking for a senior technologist. An individual that has perhaps risen up from hands-on software development, into software architecture and then into a technical leadership role. You will have ownership of the technology roadmap for this portfolio of products. You will lead a team of c.35 individuals.
You will be taking ownership of what is considered as a flagship programme of work. There is a complex programme of work here and our client are looking to attract a credible rising star.

- Large-Scale, Complex IT Environment Experience (Multi-National / EMEA)
- Clear Technical Leadership
- Corporate Financial Systems Experience (Large scale general ledger systems)
- ERP Systems Experience
- Strong Data Skills: Big Data / Data Analytics / Data Warehousing / Data Reporting
- Third Party Management
- Working with Agile and DevOps Environments
- HR Systems Experience helpful
Location: This position is located in the heart of the innovative city of Southampton just a few minutes’ walk from the train station and is accessible by a direct line from London Waterloo. The seaside city of Southampton has parks and commons, history and heritage, a world class educational institution and is on the doorstep of the beautiful New Forest National Park with quaint villages and open space. It is also just a 30 minute drive from the UK’s favourite beach in Bournemouth. Commutable with great rail and road links from Surrey, Berkshire, Sussex, Wiltshire, Dorset and London.
