My client are looking for highly successful and driven Document Solutions sales people to join their Account Management team. Due to investment and rapid expansion, they are looking to add to their highly successful Managed Print Solutions team. My client operate across the whole of the UK and are extremely well respected within the industry.

There is a great culture and feel to the business which is made up of strong ethics and a very grown up feel. There is trust between management and employees where the employees are trusted to come in and get the job done to the best of their ability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing an existing accounts – assisting to their needs and cross selling to them

• Conducting new business approaches and following up on leads

• Lead generation through various different channels (leads may be provided and marketing activity conducted on your behalf, achievement of target within your given area will be entirely your responsibility)

• The Account Manager must be able to keep up a sales activity plan to assist in the successful achievement of targets and accurate sales forecasting

• Minimum levels of activity are expected in terms of weekly telephone calls, appointments, proactive marketing to attain monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and to maintain consistency of performance

• The role includes significant contact with prospects and customers on the telephone and visiting them in their offices


• Minimum 2 year Managed Print Solutions sales experience

• Proven sales track record in a competitive environment, selling high value solution

• Broad understanding of IT, document solutions business mechanics and systems

• Experience of selling leasing

• Direct experience of telephone canvassing for new business appointments

• Good all round education, literate & numerate to a high standard

• Highly persuasive and able to influence people

• Desire to get the job done, overcome obstacles with a ‘can do attitude’

• The ability to work under your own initiative is vital

• Must be IT literate, proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

• They will be required to gain and attain a detailed working knowledge of current and future document solutions products and services

• Suitable people will possess a good sense of humour with an ability to work under pressure and achieve stretching sales targets
