Our Client powers the world's largest cloud platform and has been a disruptive and positive force enabling small, independent online businesses to exploit new online opportunities. Managing website domains for 17 million customers worldwide, this organisation operates globally and is now making a huge investment in establishing their EMEA facility in the UK.
Innovation has been the secret to their meteoric rise and their range of products and brands have changed the online landscape for the better, forever. As they look to the future and in particular new markets in EMEA, there is a requirement to hire Product Managers. Individuals capable of identifying new functionality, ideas and innovations that will radically improve and enhance the customer experience and drive sales growth in new markets.
Alongside growth and investment comes a major product integration and brand harmonisation programme. This will involve the development of new ecommerce/web platforms, and services. The vision will be to build on what has already become the world's largest hosting / domain marketplace where all brands, customers and markets will live, trade, exist and interact.
Working within a cross-functional team, you will be involved in all front end requirements capture, working with stakeholders at all levels, you will develop detailed specifications that will ensure the next iteration of the product has radical improvements and new features, specifically within the e-commerce domain. You will then work with Developers, Marketing and Commercial teams to develop, test and launch the Product(s).
Influence and collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders across regional teams, to ensure we build and deliver awesome products
Drive one or more Agile development teams – collaborating with engineering, QA, and UX designers to identify, plan, prioritise and deliver products and features
Drive the roadmap for eCommerce platform development and deployment in EMEA – sharing the plan and vision with others
Plan and deliver flawless product launches into regional brands — you’ll be driving and influencing cross-functional teams that include marketing, customer support, sales and others
Metrics & analysis: define platform KPIs, track, analyse and report platform performance against targets
Form product hypotheses, execute & report on A/B tests, and iterate to relentlessly optimise and improve platform performance
Extensive experience of successfully defining and launching new products, and managing in-life products and performance
Experience of working with eCommerce systems and digital subscription-based products would be a distinct advantage
Ideally experience of GoDaddy domains, hosting or SaaS product portfolio either as a customer, competitor or digital professional working with similar technologies in another industry
Ideally experience of working for a large international organisation
Regionalisation/localisation of products for different markets.
A strong advocate for customer experience excellence
Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver high quality results
A background in software development is an advantage
Able to motivate & drive cross-functional teams
Able to travel freely throughout EMEA and USA
The Candidate - You will be used to the pressures of working in a high profile Product Development / Project Management position. You will have a blend of technical knowledge and awareness having worked in Software Development / Product Development environment previously but will also possess a commercial appreciation and understanding of the opportunities and impacts on specific verticals and markets.
