Working in a highly technical team of around 25, the role will involve joining an established testing team. The role will be based alongside the development and delivery teams and testing is integrated from the start to ensure that the end product is of high quality, rather than being something just tacked on the end of the development process.
The role will be a mixture of manual and automation testing for both internal and external projects, so there will always be a variety of different things to get stuck into! Testing will cover functional testing as well as performance testing, so knowledge of this would be ideal.
The team are very collaborative, and it’s necessary that you are able to mentor and support other testers with your knowledge, as well as vice versa. As the projects are so diverse, there will often be a certain testers whose previous experience means that they naturally fall into a more senior role for the duration of a certain project and you’ll need to be someone who can adapt to this.
It goes without saying that you will be a strong communicator, as you will need to provide feedback to internal teams and clients.

You’ll have most of the following skills/experience:
** Agile environment
** Manual and automation testing experience – functional, integration, regression, stress, performance
** You might have some experience creating simple testing strategies for a project
** SQL Server or similar relational database
Salary and Location
Based close to the city centre of Glasgow, the offices are commutable via car or public transport and are also walking distance from both train stations.
The company are able to offer a salary of between £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experience with a strong range of benefits on offer as well with everything from a gym membership to personalised training programmes.
