A major engineering consultancy client of NRL’s is currently recruiting for a Service Delivery Technician during the roll-out of Windows 10. This is a migration from Windows 7 and is anticipated to be initially a 3 month contract.

About the role:

- Primary Project will be the transfer from Windows 7 to Windows 10 (approximately 300 Users) initially

- Endpoint (Windows PC) Support

- Handles problems that the first-tier of Service desk is unable to resolve

- May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem

- Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems. Maintains currency and highest level of technical skill in field of expertise

- Using Corporate IT Ticketing System (ServiceNow)

- Understanding of ITIL best practices

- Have excellent communication skills

- Requirement of Manual Handling assistance to relocate computer hardware. On occasions this may include repetitive lift and moving of computer deliveries

- System administration

What you will need:

- Technical Training or Technical Degree or equivalent experience

- Experience of using IT Ticketing System, preferably Service Now

- Migrating users from Windows 7 and 10
