You MUST have the following:

• Strong experience as an Application Support Manager/Release Manager/Test Manager
• Ability to read and write in C# and SQL
• Good experience overseeing releases into production
• Trading software background
• Exposure to equities, FX or bonds/Fixed Income products
• Agile

The following is DESIRABLE, not essential:

• Experience on the buy-side- hedge fund, asset management, investment management, wealth manager
• Experience with risk platforms

Role: Application Support Manager (Release Manager Team Lead C# SQL .NET Release Application Support QA Test Software Engineer Programmer Developer .NET 6.0 7.0 Lead Technical Amazon Web Services Cloud Buy Side Buy-Side Risk Hedge Fund Asset Manager Management Investment Mutual Investment Risk Derivatives Front Office Front Office JavaScript Finance Contract Contractor) required by our asset management client in New York. You will join a department dedicated to investment risk- creating applications that aggregate the risk of the portfolios across the company. Within this department, there are 18 engineers. You will lead 3-4 in order to respond to production based issues and be involved in the oversight of the go-live process of releases. This will be done by collaborating with the business and the 5 technical leads. Your role will be mostly hands-off but you will need to be able to trouble-shoot some queries from time to time. You will still be able to read and write C# and SQL code.

This is an environment that has been described as the only corporate environment with a start-up/fintech attitude towards technology. Hours are 9-5.

The hybrid working requires 2 days/week in the office.
