Senior Network Engineer - Juniper, BGP, Linux

£100,000 - £110,000 + company performance bonus + benefits

Hybrid/London based - Liverpool Street area

Our Client is a major brand in the digital identity technology space and are in need of a Senior Network Engineer to come in and join their existing team.

Since they were founded, our client has changed the game in the digital identity space. They are technologists at heart and offer a great collaborative environment.

As the Senior Network Engineer your role will be focused on designing and developing their complex network environment while working closely with their Architects.

The environment is Juniper based and they are a Linux house.

You will be responsible for:

• Design & Development of existing complex network
• Continuous network improvements
• Scaling their network environment
• Utilising Network automation and tooling
• Capacity management
• Hands on support of Network Operations
• Cabling and Racking of equipment
• Data Center visits
• Managing 3rd parties

Skills Required:

• Network design experience, including designing resilient routing architectures
• Managing enterprise level data center environments
• Strong experience of Juniper Routers, Switches and Firewalls
• Strong BGP, transit and peering experience
• Strong Linux experience, preferably within Debian and RedHat
• IPv6 experience
• Layer 2 switching and high availability experience
• Scripting - Bash or python or equivalent
• Security concepts and design
• Automation tooling such as Ansible, Chef or Salt are a bonus
