Report and work closely to the Head of IT, you will be acting as Risk Champion of IT department to implement and operate IT risk controls and Assurance. This is a 1 year FTC role but with the possibility to extend or transfer to permanent role after a year, hybrid work, based in Liverpool.

Description

• Be the key person and risk representative of IT department
• Conduct regular risk reviews and provide risk reports to risk committees
• Support the Risk and Control owners to ensure that IT department risk register is reviewed and up to date.
• Ensure IT Policies are reviewed and updated annually in line with review dates
• Ensure controls are reviewed whilst new technology is implemented
• Conduct independent testing and validation of key IT and Policy controls
• Maintain the IT Policy control framework
• Assurance over IT team's procedures, controls and process maps
• Be the key contact point for risk committees & external IT Audit

Profile

• Good stakeholder management skills
• Good analytic, reporting and presentation skills
• Experience in implementing and operating a risk or control framework
• Able to set up IT Assurance Framework
