An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Technical Support Engineer to join this exciting and growing company within the security industry who are based in Gloucestershire.

The main purpose of this Technical Support Engineer is to provide 3rd line technical support to UK and export customers related to commissioning and fault finding and be able to recreate problems to enable the development department to apply a fix. You will also be involved in assisting the Regional Sales and Business Development teams with all required pre-sales technical support for both end-user customers and reseller partners. You will be required to travel within the UK and Internationally at short notice with up to 2 weeks in duration.

Key skills and experience required for Technical Support Engineer:

• Experience within a technical / IT role including both system design and break fix

• Experience within a technical level customer

• Indepth knowledge of IT Systems: Microsoft / NEC clusters, MS SQL Databases and MS Operating systems both server and client
