Leading a small team of specialists and leading Engineering team, you will have full global responsibility for driving forward Standards, Systems and Processes. Using your extensive technical expertise and change management skills, you will chart the perfect course of implementing the right balance of governance and best practice.
To be successful, you will be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience. Ideally this will be complimented with a membership of an industry related professional body.
Additional qualifications such as; lean manufacture, six sigma and project management would be a distinct advantage.

About the role:
Lead immediate team to install processes, systems and standards to support engineering function to achieve company operational and strategic aims and objectives.
Delivery and maintenance of global company engineering change process and support systems. Work with wider business to ensure methods and processes support wider organisation in achieving operations excellence.
Develop and maintain a process / system to provide accurate planning and forecasting of engineering capacity.
Implement and maintain a global company method of installing best practice engineering standards to improve the quality and reliability of our vehicles and provide a platform for effective outsourcing to enable growth.
Work within engineering and across all business functions to influence and encourage collaboration across the company to deliver business excellence.
Be a business leader, be courageous and passionate about what you do and help motivate our people to be the best they can be for the benefit of both themselves and for the business.
Provide project support and governance where required to programmes team.
