The Company: MACS Software Limited, a developer of software specialising in improving the efficiency and management of manufacturing & logistics companies worldwide.
Position: Part of the Implementation/Support team, focusing mainly on first line application software support.
Based in Lutterworth (adjacent to junction 20 of the M1 motorway) but with occasional travel to customer sites.
Requirements: We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a good level of education (Degree level or equivalent) and relevant experience to join the Company as a member of the implementation/Support team.
Key skills required:
A hands-on, common sense approach
Good communication skills
Good IT, numeracy and analytical/problem solving skills
Good organisational skills with a “can do” attitude
Personable, confident and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and meet customer expectations
Knowledge of the warehousing environment / warehouse management systems would be of particular benefit (but not mandatory)
A willingness to travel if required
Responsibilities: Main duties to include:
Help in the installation and support of MACS software systems from head office and potentially in the field
Assist in the production of associated documentation e.g. system user instructions
Other tasks associated with the running of the business e.g. reporting, data migration, site visits etc.
Flexible and adaptable with a willingness to undertake tasks as required to support the business and our customers.
To work to, and ensure compliance with, company management systems at all times
What we offer:
Salary: Subject to experience (£20-25k)
Holidays: Initially 20 days, rising annually to a maximum of 24 days
