We are currently recruiting for a Commercial and Operations Data Analyst to join our friendly team based in Letchworth Garden City. This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday. Offering a competitive salary plus attractive rewards and benefits.
Part of the Autoglym Operation team, the Commercial and Operations Data Analyst will provide a key role in supporting the Operations and Commercial teams. Working collaboratively across the business, provide and maintain business information for enhanced working practices and strategic projects. Support external IT systems for our franchise network. Your main responsibilities will include:
Retrieve business information and convert this into business intelligence for the use of commercial, marketing and operational initiatives.
Use information for Pricing, Profitability and Product management
Establish environments to provide internal & external parties with easy access to business information.
Translate raw data from several sources using strong data analysis, manipulation and modeling skills, to highlight discrepancies, patterns, exceptions and trends in data to aid business decision
Present high quality data analysis and statistical information in the most appropriate format to suit the data and audience. Using graphs, tables and reports that are accessible and easy to interpret by the wider business
Support sales teams in the use of new & existing systems tools, including CRM/Pivotal, Innvan & Sharepoint.
Supporting system implementations, software development and hardware.
Facilitate provision of forecasting information for production planning.
Apply intelligence to past sales information, customer forecasts and business intelligence to create a forecasting plan for key customers

What are we looking for?
Graduate in Business Information Technology/Management Information Systems/Business Systems or equivalent experience
Advance Excel and data analysis
Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills
Ability to convert raw data from several sources into graphs, tables and reports
Data analysis, manipulation and modeling skills
Knowledge of manufacturing business operations and how they interact with commercial areas of the business
