Strategic Software Partners are financial consultants for the software/tech industry. We are a small, dynamic team based out of Kennington in South London and have increased revenue +20% for each of the last two years.
We are looking to accelerate our growth and are looking for an ambitious Sales Executive to be part of that journey. We are a small team, and therefore you will have great exposure to all areas of the business.
As well as being a great opportunity to make money and great industry connections, this role will offer an excellent learning/development opportunity for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset. This is a new hire, you won't be replacing anyone, which further underlines our desire and commitment for growth.
Your New Role:
The Sales Executive will generate as many quality business meetings as possible for senior team members to attend. In time, it would be hoped that you could attend these meetings, and eventually start closing deals. These meetings would be generated primarily by cold calling new clients, introducing yourself and the products and discovering new contacts.
This is a B2B role. Secondary to this will be maintaining other marketing endeavours including email mailshots for our newsletter, as well as attending networking events where appropriate. Responsibilities include:
- Generating new business meetings across the UK
- Selling on the telephone to prospective clients; making 200+ calls per week
- Email marketing/attending networking events
- Attending prospect meetings where appropriate
You Will Have:
We are small company, so we are ideally looking for a self-starter who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty, and to use their own initiative bring in new business! Desired experience and skills:
- Degree level or equivalent;
- Excellent verbal communication skills;
- A natural sales ability; you must be confident and articulate, particularly on the telephone
- The ability to tailor your style and sales pitch to suit a particular opportunity
- Sales experience (desirable but not essential)
Standard hours 9.30am - 5.30pm - flexible working is a possibility although you will initially be located at our Kennington office.
Rewards & Benefits:
As our Sales Executive, you will receive a competitive basic salary of £22,000 - £27,000 per annum with an OTE of £60,000.
