Business Development Executive

Contract Type – Permanent

Location - Nationwide

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to continue to grow and develop Nurseplus client relationships nationally. The successful candidate will play a vital role in increasing awareness of Nurseplus within the private care sector. The key will be to develop and maintain long-term value for Nurseplus from new and existing clients, markets and relationships whilst continuously identifying new areas for development within the regions whilst ensuring we maintain margins and deliver our great service which we are known for.

The Role

* Responsible for the continued development and of the business development plan and function within the Company

* Over time, take ownership of the management of the business development division

* Report and present at Board level

* Identify new sales opportunities and business leads at sustainable margin

* Assist branches in increasing their offering to existing clients

* Understand which market strategies can be used to attract clients

* Maintain and grow relationships with current clients

* Attend Operations / Regional meetings to present to Branch Managers / Area Managers to encourage best practice and to share ideas

* Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company`s ambitious growth

* Align BD role with our clinical/nursing strategy.

* Manage Neutral vendor Relationships and work with Senior operations to implement or withdraw from contracts in this space

The successful candidate

* Understand and have strong knowledge of the care sector and its recruitment market, including regulatory requirements

* Experience in working with and communicating at all levels including CEOs and Care Home ownwers

* Results driven with sophistication in both their written and verbal comms skills.

* Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for and winning new business

* Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills

* Confident in leading by example to achieve results

* Flexibility to work across a wide geographical area

* Ability to prioritise workload

* Strong sales skills with the ability to negotiate and close sales

* Experience of implementing working processes to support business development

* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals within healthcare sales

* Proficient in Microsoft Office products

* Current UK driving licence
