- To be successful in this role, you will need to have a background in - Science, research, healthcare, digital health etc, as you will be required to make real-world, human decisions on the data you are producing/extracting/using/developing and it's value and relevance to the query you've received.
- To take day to day responsibility for the approval and completion of information requests of schemes and programmes
- Act as an interface between the programme teams and Business Intelligence function to ensure appropriate evaluation and analysis of programme outcomes;
- Lead on the evaluation and analysis of awards and programmes through the monitoring of awards, and review of outcomes;
- Provide accurate and timely information to the Executive Board, Strategy Group and DHSC.
- Analyse and continually evaluate data quality and integrity to produce reports and implement action plans to ensure on-going process improvements.
- Lead and support on appropriate projects that contribute to service improvements throughout the organisation.
- Working with the Assistant Director for Evaluation, Business Intelligence and Impact, support on defining, analysing and communicating the impact of investment in research capacity develop; and
- To support members of the Executive Board in their role of having oversight of the various funding streams.
- Take responsibility for ensuring information systems and processes are in place
- The post holder will be required to deal with complex enquiries, all of which will involve the extraction and analysis of a variety of datasets, ensuring the results are accurate, fit-for-purpose and presented to a high standard, including the interpretation of results.
Profile
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a background in - Science, research, healthcare, digital health etc, as you will be required to make real-world, human decisions on the data you are producing/extracting/using/developing and it's value and relevance to the query you've received.
You should have EXCELLENT Excel and/or Excel skills as there is a constant influx of ad-hoc reporting requests involving a very wide subject base. In order to ascertain the accuracy and relevance of the reports you provide, you will need to have a solid grounding in the above, as well as being able to manipulate and present complicated data sets.
