Unit4 (Agresso) Analyst
I have an exciting new position for a Unit 4 analyst to join a digitally focused largely expanding higher education facility. Working as part of the Systems Management Team in the Digital and Technical Services Directorate, the Systems Analyst will use a variety of techniques to assist in the maintenance and development of the Higher Education facilities ERP system supporting HR, Finance and Payroll throughout the development life cycle (including design, build, testing, cutover, and support). Starting ASAP, paying up to £37,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting, maintaining and developing a selection of Unit 4 systems and identifying opportunities for business process optimisation to improve organisational efficiency.
- Assessing how well an existing or new piece of software, system or hardware fits the business needs.
- Working with users at all levels within the business, identifying and documenting user requirements and producing the relevant specifications for a new systems or service.
- Participating in business process improvement, requirements gathering and solution design workshops.
- Supporting work that is being undertaken to design a solution or business process.
- Contributing to the decision making about business process improvements and solution design based on analysis work as appropriate.
- Providing second level operational support to staff for internal systems and ensure that relevant Digital and Technical Services (DTS) Service Level Agreements (SLA's) are met.
- Liaising with stakeholders and developers to maintain and develop existing systems and ensure on-time delivery, technical compatibility, and user satisfaction.
- Developing an in-depth knowledge of end-to-end business processes and system functionality.
- Co-ordinating the gathering, cleansing and validation of data.
- Coordinating functional design documents.
- Preparing and delivering Unit Testing, Integrated System Testing (IST) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Preparing policy, procedure and process documentation as required and requested.
This position will be initially offered as a 6 month fixed term contract.
