Job Role: Infrastructure Operations Engineer
Location: Coventry, West Midlands
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum plus company benefits
Working Model: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote (hybrid)

We're excited to present an exceptional full time opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer with strong VMware skills, on behalf of our esteemed client based in Coventry.

Our client seeks an Infrastructure Engineer to take the reins in designing, implementing, and maintaining their intricate IT infrastructure.

Your proficiency in VMware, Windows, Microsoft technologies, storage, group policy, and Cloud solutions will be pivotal in ensuring seamless performance, scalability, and functionality across their systems.

Responsibilities:

• Utilise your advanced VMware skills to manage cutting-edge virtualization solutions.
• Lead efforts to optimize high availability within Windows server environments.
• Take charge of managing Microsoft technologies, including:

• Active Directory
• DNS
• DHCP

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to fine-tune data storage and networking solutions.
• Evaluate and oversee cloud solutions integral to their ongoing digital transformation.
• Leverage your adept troubleshooting skills to swiftly resolve intricate infrastructure challenges, minimising disruptions.

• Demonstrated experience in:

• VMware
• Windows
• Microsoft technologies
• Storage
• Group policy
• Cloud solutions

• Proficiency with networking concepts, protocols, and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving acumen for innovative and efficient technical resolutions.
• Exceptional communication skills for seamless collaboration across diverse teams.
