Broadcast Engineer

Role: Broadcast Engineer

Broadcast Engineer

CPS Group UK are delighted to be working with a leading Media organisation to appoint several Broadcast Engineers on either a Full time or freelance/contract basis. The roles will involve supporting a well-recognised Media outlet by maintaining and improving their technical broadcast infrastructure. The Engineers are responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of new systems and infrastructure.

*We are open to applicants seeking contract/freelance OR Full time work*

Role Responsibilities

* Responsible for the day-to-day operation of technical broadcast equipment and infrastructure
* Manage the delivery of small broadcast technology projects (eg upgrades/refreshes)
* Ensure the on-going optimisation of systems through troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
* Support other Engineering team members on major technology projects
* Contribute to discussions and designs for technical improvements and changes

Required Skills & Experience

* 3+ years' experience in Broadcast Engineering and/or Support
* Strong knowledge of Broadcast supply chains and workflows
* Hands-on technical expertise with both Broadcast hardware kit and software packages
* Team player with the ability to work under pressure/time constraints
* Familiarity with OB (Outside Broadcasting) - desirable
* Good clear communication skills (written and verbal)
