Role: Principal Engineer

Location: Remote - 1 day per month in London

Package: Base up to £110,000

We are looking for a hands-on principal engineer with a focus on Product to work on an exciting large-scale Review platform. A large portion of your role will be providing first-rate technical leadership, taking full ownership of planning, reviews and development.

30% Mentoring 70% Hands on - Reporting to the Head of Product.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Overseeing the creation and demonstration of proofs-of-concept for the business.
• Creating mission critical functionality Backend (.Net, c#, Kubernetes, SQL) and Frontend (React/Typescript) and hosting in the cloud (AWS/GCP).
• Supporting the writing and providing input to bids and proposals.
• Taking responsibility for the build, test and support of code and tools that enable teams to self-serve for most operational tasks
• Building integrations and APIs that are rock-solid, secure, well-tested, and highly performant and continually improving code, systems, practices, and knowledge.

Required:

• Extensive experience in .NET development (.Net, c#).
• Experience working in a Product focused environment
• Experience with Frontend (React/Typescript)
• Experience leading a team of developers/testers.
• Experience working with cloud systems (AWS & GCP).
• Experience of working with containers and message brokers like Kafka or any other message brokers.
• Experience with using GraphQL AND REST API endpoints
