Definition:
An experienced PostgreSQL developer who becomes part of a devops team, tasked with moving services to the cloud and building new services. Due to the complexity of the landscape, this assignment requires thorough experience
of Java development. The team will deliver software in an Agile environment via the Scrum methodology. Given the diversity of services the team serves, this should be a developer with several years of experience. The person's assignment is the technical application management of the team's Angular Front End and Java Back End services. The database of these services is PostgreSQL. It technically manages the Angular and Java applications on the Kubernetes platform and the data in PostgreSQL database. Monitoring
tools used include ELK (Elastic, Kibana, Logstash) & Gravana
This is an assignment for a senior PostgreSQL Developer in an Agile Scrum/DevOps environment that uses the SOA landscape of the CJIB. The assignment has the following challenge:
- Managing Java services and user interfaces in an SOA oriented landscape;
- Use Java, Spring Boot, Angular, HTML, PostgreSQL and supporting tooling like Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Kubernetes,
ELK in Gravana;
- Cloud ready development (Service discovery, Spring Cloud);
- Monitors (Splunk, Kibana, Grafana), Profiling, Tuning a Service.
- experience with Back End!

Demand:

• HBO working and thinking level

• OCP or similar
• Command of the Dutch language in speech and writing
• Experience as a JAVA developer
• Experience with Cloud

Wish:

• Knowledge and experience with Continuous Delivery tooling (GIT, NodeJS, NPM and Nexus)
• Experience with automated testing (Citrus Framework/Protractor/Jmeter)
• Experience with Spring Boot (preferably customizing it specifically for an environment)
