My client, a global giant within the Pharmaceuticals industry, is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their team in Camberley, on a 6 months contract.

Purpose

* Provides payroll admin support for the UK Payroll Team.

* This role is to ensure accurate and timely delivery of all payroll services for 5 Payrolls, including Expat and Inpats. Responsible for supporting the Payroll Team to meet Novartis legal responsibilities.

Major Accountabilities

* Works with the Payroll Team to ensure timely & accurate delivery of payroll services on a monthly basis.

* Follows existing processes to safeguard accuracy and timeliness of all data for payroll runs (i.e. including data that goes via interface and goes direct to payroll provider).

* Responds to calls/ticket queries from employees accurately and promptly.

* Accuracy for Payroll Service.

* Previous knowledge of Payroll Services and legislative and statutory requirements

* Understands employee needs and reacts pro-actively

* Able to meet deadlines to ensure Payrolls are delivered in a timely and accurate manner.

* Looks for ways to improve the Payroll Service.

* Develops own skills by job-relevant training and keeping updated on legislative changes.

* Is able to build rapport with employees and colleagues. Is supportive and displays a positive “Can-do” attitude.

* Provides information in a way that addresses other’s issues, ensuring clarity for the recipient.

* Asks for advice from relevant colleagues when problem solving and acts pro-actively to manage queries.
