Enterprise Architect - Remote UK - Permanent Position

Agency Summary:
The role can be reduced, in summary, as being responsible for helping our client define the enterprise data architecture for the future and lead the way; help them to improve, and challenge the status quo. You will be supported by an established management structure and an experienced peer group, who will work collaboratively with you to deliver end-to-end services. You will be instrumental in designing the data strategies and data architecture.

  • Translating business requirements into deliverable data solutions, that include data streams, integrations, transformations, storage, reporting and analytics.
  • Identifying key data domains to categorise company wide data in a structured manner.
  • Setting the vision and creating the strategy for the organisation's approach to enterprise data architecture and the introduction of Master Data Management.
  • Developing the enterprise data architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment to business capabilities and organisational strategies.
  • Driving the implementation of standards, processes, and governance controls to support the end-to-end data life cycle within enterprise data architectures.
  • for defining the analytics platform/landscape for the future; this will involve modelling and architecting the data our client ingests into their central Analytics data store.

Right to Apply:
To take on this role you must LIVE in the UK with a full right to work and 5 years' minimum residency prior to application date. For SC Clearance Levels, you must be a British, Irish, Commonwealth or EEA National.

Experience/Skills/Certifications:

  • Enterprise data strategies and supporting architectures, leading data architecture-based business change.
  • Producing target and transitional data architectures in delivery of strategic initiatives and objectives.
  • Experience in establishing Data Catalogues and Master Data Management (MDM).
  • Defining and governing Datamodelling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development practices for enterprise data models.
  • Experience defining cloud data platforms, architectures and supporting schemas and pipelines.
  • Ability to influence senior management; communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • The following Certifications would be useful, but are not essential; BCS Certificate in Enterprise & Solutions Architecture, TOGAF v9.2 and ArchiMate 3 Practitioner.
