My client is a leader in the industrial solutions market and operates in over 60 countries worldwide.

Due to continuous, exponential growth they are looking for an experienced HSE Advisor to join the on-site team on one of their key contracts.

What to expect:

• Support the HSE lead in the development and delivery of the Contract HSE plan, ensuring it is; current, communicated and implemented
• Establish in a timely manner, maintain and periodically review the location SHE Management System to ensure site operations comply with customer requirements in line with company policy & procedure
• Engage with the Site Manager and Principal HSE Leader to establish, maintain and promote compliance with an effective site specific HS&E Plan
• In conjunction with the Site Manager develop & deploy site based SHE awareness campaigns/improvement initiatives, consistent with business objectives, that promote and sustain a positive culture
• Attend and positively contribute to all client safety meetings as required ensuring the Site/Project Manager (and other internal stakeholders) are kept abreast of meeting content, discussion points and actions.

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
• Graduate/Associate membership of IOSH or Associate membership of IIRSM or Affiliate membership of IEMA
• EMS Awareness Training
• Extensive knowledge & application of OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 principles
• Advanced knowledge of investigation techniques including root cause analysis and ability to effectively apply
• Adequate communication skills to facilitate effective communications commensurate with the role requirements
• Adequate report compilation skills to facilitate effective reporting commensurate with the role requirements
• 12 months experience in a role involving HS&E responsibility
